Carolina Benito Cox
Carolina Benito Cox holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Alcalá. Master’s degree in Language Pedagogy (with an emphasis on Spanish) and a postgraduate degree in TESOL from Brigham Young University. She has worked as a language specialist (English) to facilitate bilingual learning processes (Spanish-English) and has taught a variety of subjects in teacher education (Didactics, Foreign Language for Early Childhood, Strategies and Resources for Teaching English) and in the bilingual education MA (Curriculum Design). She is responsible for the bilingual project (Spanish-English) at the Cardenal Cisneros University College and has received training in England and Estonia. Her research interests focus on teacher education: epistemological change, authentic and transformative learning, constructivism, and its relationship with 21st-century competences development.
